Returns and Exchanges
At Sottura, we are committed to your satisfaction and confidence in every purchase. We understand that quality matters, especially when it comes to shapewear and intimate apparel.
Our Policy
Due to the intimate nature of our products, which are designed to be worn close to the skin, we do not accept returns for hygiene and safety reasons. This policy helps us maintain the highest standards of product quality and customer health.
Exchange Policy
We offer exchanges only in case of manufacturing defects, provided that:
- The item is unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging
- All tags, labels, and hygiene seals are intact
- The exchange request is raised within 7 days of delivery
- Photographic evidence of the defect is provided
Manufacturing Defects Include:
- Broken or defective zippers, hooks, or closures
- Torn fabric or stitching issues present at the time of delivery
- Incorrect product sent (different from what was ordered)
- Damaged product received due to transit issues
How to Request an Exchange
- Contact our customer care team at customercare@sottura.com or call us at +91 98330 43843 within 2 days of receiving your order
- Provide your order number and clear photographs showing the manufacturing defect
- Our team will review your request and, if approved, arrange a pickup from your location
- Once we receive and verify the defective product, we will dispatch a replacement
Please note: Applicable reverse shipping charges (if any) may apply based on the nature of the defect and courier partner policies.
Non-Exchangeable Items
The following situations are not covered under our exchange policy:
- Change of mind or sizing issues
- Products that have been used, washed, or worn
- Items with removed tags, labels, or broken hygiene seals
- Damage caused after delivery due to misuse or improper care
- Products purchased during final sale or clearance events (unless defective)
Important Notes
- Size & Fit: We encourage you to carefully review our size guide before placing an order to ensure the best fit
- Hygiene Standards: As shapewear is intimate apparel worn directly against the skin, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for non-defective items
- Inspection: All products are thoroughly inspected before dispatch. Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery
Refund Policy
Since we do not accept returns, refunds are not applicable except in the following cases:
- Payment was deducted but the order was not processed
- Order was cancelled before dispatch
- Severe manufacturing defect where replacement is not possible
Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
